World Federation of Rose Societies: Garden of Excellence
We were proud to win the 2015 Award of ‘Garden Excellence for Outstanding Rose Gardens’ from the World Federation of Rose Societies Convention in Lyon, France.
At the time of award, this was only the third such award granted within Australia and the 43rd worldwide – a huge honour.
The 39 members of the World Federation of Rose Societies confirmed that, while there are many wonderful rose gardens around the world, some are truly exceptional from a historical, educational and/or visual point of view. One of them is at Mornington.
Volunteering Victoria Awards 2023: Grassroots Volunteering Finalist
We were selected as a Finalist for the Volunteering Victoria 2023 Volunteering Awards in the category ‘Grassroots Volunteering’. It was great recognition of the energy, dedication and passion of our volunteers that work to keep the gardens looking great.
The ceremony was hosted by the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, Governor of Victoria and it was great for some of our volunteers to be able to attend Government House for the event.
