Mornington Botanical Rose Gardens is a community run and operated botanical rose garden of excellence.
These beautiful gardens are managed, maintained and funded by volunteers and is a not-for-profit organisation.
We invite the local community and visitors to our region to come, enjoy and explore!
The gardens are open to everyone, 7days a week, 365 days a year.
Admission is free.
About Us
Located between two art galleries on the Mornington Peninsula, Mornington Botanical Rose Gardens provide a peaceful space to explore and enjoy.
The gardens are a unique venue for your wedding, workshop or event surrounded by 4,000 varieties of roses in a landscaped setting with a rotunda and garden room.
Rose varieties include hybrid teas, floribundas, David Austin’s, Delbard, miniatures, groundcovers, modern shrubs, old fashioned climbers and standards.
We are proud to have:
- An extensive collection of Heritage Roses.
- The Don Gordon Garden Room (our information and education centre).
- Sculptures and artworks
- Guided tours and talks (on request)
- Rotunda (available for weddings and events)
